Saturday protests are expected to swell into the thousands as “No Kings” demonstrations return to Portland, its suburbs and other Oregon cities and towns. Many of the marches and rallies have been organized under the banner of Indivisible Oregon, which says on its website it was founded in 2017 to “defy the MAGA agenda” and is run by volunteers. The demonstrations across Oregon are part of a national movement of protests intending to push back on the administration of President Donald Trump and his immigration crackdown.
