The realities of an outdoor shower > The positives: *The views can be epic *So much space is saved in the van *Makes washing the dog very easy *No need to clean an outdoor shower *No one will want to tell you this but I don’t know many van lifers who shower everyday 🤫 it’s more of a wet wipe situation - Water tanks in vans aren’t huge so I’m not wasting space for a minimal occasion The negatives: ~It’s not often I’m parked in a place where there isn’t an audience ~There’s often times where it’s not appropriate to shower outside ~I need to wear a swimming costume which means I need somewhere to dry it, and if it’s not a hot day this can take days ~The outdoor shower is pointless if it’s raining ~This one’s on me: but I can’t normally be bothered to wait for the water to heat up in the tank so it’s normally cold- and being outside is an extra challenge of resilience What are your thoughts?
