And we figured the best way to take in such a momentous occasion for women’s soccer and the beautiful game in America was to climb to the very peak of Empower Field at Mile High and take it all in. The sight of the Rockies, plus the record-breaking crowd below, made this view one of the most breathtaking ones we’ve seen on our soccer travels across the country. If you’re ever in Colorado you must definitely catch a Denver Summit match (but heads up they’ll be playing at other venues across the region this season) and hang out with the 14ers—the club’s supporters group.
