Kittens doesn’t open their eyes instantly. The process happens between day 10 and 15 after birth. Sometimes they open both eyes almost symmetrically, sometimes one opens before the other. In the same litter, some of them open their eyes before the rest of the siblings. It’s all natural and it must not be forced. In a few days, all of them will have both of their eyes opened, with a deep blue, almost black coloration. At first, they don’t have a clear vision, but they start to understand shadows, light and forms. Their hearing is developing too, so they are more aware of everyone around them.
