Join us tomorrow as we host our second annual Lieutenant Col. Richard S. Schott Memorial Game! LTC Schott founded the URI Men’s Club Lacrosse program in 1965, introducing it as a new way to keep his ROTC Cadets in shape throughout the year. LTC Schott tragically passed away in April of 1972, protecting our country while serving a tour in the Vietnam War. LTC Schott’s story is a reminder that freedom is never free, and we are honored to carry out his legacy and show a the utmost respect and appreciation for his sacrifice for our country.
