SDGC, we are thrilled to be collaborating with ufblackalumni to share the success of one of our own! Erika Wise, a 2007 Gator Grad with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and a minor in African American Studies, has made entrepreneurial strides in the San Diego area. After her time at UF, Wise attended Full Sail University, where she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Media Design. She currently works at the Small Business Development Center in San Diego, where she provides marketing consultations and educational workshops. Also in the San Diego area, Wise serves as Reclaim Magazine’s Staff Writer and Editor-in-Chief. Outside of her current line of work, Wise founded a Christian sisterhood and mentorship program called Virtuous Gems, Inc. Additionally, she founded WiserWay Group, which was aimed at providing digital marketing and creative outlets to those striving to make a mark on the world.
