Devin’s offseason was built around that balance.
The goal was to build a stronger frame while preserving the explosiveness and movement that define his game. Over the winter he added 11 pounds, moving from 179 to 190, while continuing to move efficiently and maintain speed.
Mobility stayed a priority throughout the process so added strength did not come at the cost of movement quality. Even with the added mass, he ran a 6.5 sixty at his pro day, showing the added size translated without slowing him down.
His offseason also required adaptability. Frequent showcases and prospect events condensed the schedule, which meant training had to continue while preparing to perform.
Consistency was the difference. Devin roughly doubled the amount of time he spent training on-site compared to the previous year, allowing each phase of the program to build on the last.
