I met Alma outside of Family Dollar, sitting in the cold with no shoes. Without hesitation, Alma stopped to help. She took the time to listen, went and got me shoes, prayed over me, and walked me across the plaza to the local church. She lives by the belief that it’s better to give than to receive, and she proved that through her actions by helping me and paying the blessings forward to two families immediately after.
