According to a disclosure filed with Turkey’s Public Disclosure Platform, the airline plans to acquire a 40% stake in the Izmir-based biofuel producer through a combination of capital increase and partial share transfer. The binding offer was accepted on April 1, 2026, and formal transaction procedures have been initiated. The investment aims to meet the growing demand for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) driven by global environmental regulations and the company’s sustainability goals.
