A few weekends ago we camped at Deception Pass State Park with my friend Andrew & Cody’s brother and nephews and it was so much fun! Trailer camping has definitely been a learning curve for us to say the least 😅 like how when we tow the trailer with our Tacoma we get about 8-9 MPG… Anyways…. Here’s some tips & what not about camping at Deception Pass:
🛻 its < 1.5 hrs from Seattle and you can take the ferry over from Mukilteo or drive up & around through Anacortes
🏕️ $40/night for our trailer site that had water & electric hookups, and $25/night for the tent site
🌉 the top of Deception Pass bridge is always way busier compared to driving down to the bottom and walking the beaches/under the bridge
⛺️ we stayed at site 1 on the Forest Loop, which was right next to Cranberry Lake and the entrance, but super far walk to the toilets
Happy camping season!
