The Artemis II mission recently captured a rare crescent view of Earth shortly after launch. Taken by a camera on the Orion spacecraft’s solar array, the image shows Earth partially illuminated, like a thin glowing arc against darkness. This happens because sunlight only lights part of the planet from that angle.
