Eric Bischoff on D-Von Dudley's YouTube channel said the WWE product is starting to feel flat due to a "sameness" across the characters, storylines, promos, and presentations. ​ "I think it's starting to feel flat for the same reasons it felt flat to me back in 2019 when I complained about there being a sameness. There's just a level of familiarity in each one of the characters and each one of the storylines and each one of the presentations and each one of the promos." ​ Bischoff said certain performers still stand out, praising CM Punk and Becky Lynch, but said the rest of the roster blends together. ​ "There needs to be more diversity in the types of stories they're telling, in the types of characters. They have to get that sense of something fresh and new.
