The Obama Presidential Center has officially announced its opening date for June 19, 2026! 🏛️🌳 Located in Jackson Park, this 19.3-acre campus is designed to be a world-class destination for the South Side. The center will feature: 🎞️ The Museum (highlighting the story of the Obama administration) 🏀 Home Court (a massive community center with an NBA-regulation sized basketball court) 📖 A new branch of the Chicago Public Library 🌷 A 58,000 sq. ft. Great Lawn, woodland-themed playground, and Wetland Walk The campus will be open daily and free of charge! (Note: While the park and plaza are free, the Museum will require a ticket).
