Karian Aspinall, a senior student-athlete at bsswawrestling and beatthestreets, became the first girl student-athlete in nycpsal history to win a boys wrestling city championship and compete at the nysphsaa Boys Wrestling Individual Championships! councilmembersanchez presented his first proclamation in her honor for this historic accomplishment, marking March 31 as Karian Aspinall Day in front of a gymnasium full of Bronx Studio students, faculty and staff.
