There are so many beautiful places to see in France so make sure to add Provence to your itinerary! Every year from around the last week of June to the middle of August, fields in the South of France bloom with brightly-hued lavender. And not only is it mind-blowingly gorgeous, it smells absolutely divine! I’m so glad I got to tick this off my bucket list last year. There are many lavender fields in the region (Provence) including the Pays de Sault, Luberon, Drôme Provençale, and Manosque. However, many people say that the Valensole Plateau (where I’m at in the video) is the absolute best spot and it’s not hard to see why! The fields are completely free to visit, sunset is the best time to go if you’re taking pictures, and don’t worry about crowds— the fields are so vast that it’s easy to find spots where you’re completely by yoursel...
