A 27-year-old drag queen who was set to appear on 'Drag Race: Philippines' season four has tragically passed away.
Jason Elvie Ty, best known by their stage name Misua, died Thursday (2 April) in the Philippines. A cause of death was not announced.
Misua was cast as one of the drag queens of 'Drag Race: Philippines' season four, which was set to start filming. She was also a beloved queen among the Filipino drag community and a member of Haus of LaFeya.
The queens of the forthcoming season hadn’t yet been announced. Filming has been temporarily halted in light of Misua’s death.
