Day 58 of Learning Robotics! Unfortunately, a large part of robotics is simply waiting for parts. But once my bearings finally arrived I found started designing my components since they depend heavily on the width and height of my bearings. I’ve started by designing the initial gearbox and will soon start polishing things bit by bit. It’s important for me to get the tolerances right so I can get good repeatability from my actuators which will be awesome for my robotic arm and consequently my AI research :) #engineering #robotics #roboticarm #motors #gears
