Idaho National Guard commander Maj. Gen. Tim Donnellan visited the Duck Valley Reservation Sept. 8 to meet with the Tribal Council and tour facilities at a joint Individual Readiness Training event being held there. The medical IRT combined the capabilities of Idaho National Guard medics with those of the Love Heals Free Clinic to provide free healthcare, including youth sports physicals, mental health opportunities, dental and optometric services to Tribal members. During the visit Donnellan also toured ongoing construction on the Tribe's new K-12 school. Idaho National Guard's 116th Brigade Engineer Battalion laid the groundwork for the school in May 2024 by providing site excavation, also through the IRT program.
