Today, the Idaho National Guard welcomed nearly 100 local employers for the annual Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Boss Lift. "The Idaho National Guard couldn't exist without the support of our Soldiers' employers," said Idaho National Guard commander Maj. Gen. Tim Donnellan. "Boss Lift is our opportunity to thank them and show them first hand what their employees do for our state and our nation." Boss Lift participants took a flight in a UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter to view the Orchard Combat Training Center, learned about M1A2 Abrams tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles at the 204th Regional Training Institute, and experienced what it feels like to fly an A-10 Thunderbolt II in our state-of-the-art flight simulator.
