STARBASE Idaho students are receiving certificates of completion during graduation ceremonies being held throughout this week on Gowen Field. About 430 5th grade students from five Treasure Valley schools completed the program this cycle. The mission of DoD STARBASE Idaho is to provide innovative learning experiences not typically found in 5th grade school settings that foster academic success in STEM, encourage growth mind-set, increase awareness of STEM career fields, and create opportunities to enhance student capacity in goal setting, teamwork, and perseverance. #idahonationalguard #starbase #stemeducation
