Just the start of us turning this into a cute coastal canal-front Airbnb. Since the house stays pretty booked, we squeezed a quick living room and 3 bedroom refresh into the two days between guests. One of the biggest upgrades was swapping out the old mattresses for Layla Sleep Hybrid mattresses. I love that they’re flippable with both a soft and firm side, so you get two options in one. For the Airbnb we set them up on the soft side for that cozy vacation sleep. We also added Layla mattress protectors (a must for rentals) and I originally ordered their 2” mattress toppers too, but once we laid on the beds we realized the mattresses were already comfortable enough on their own.
