What you watch is shaping how you feel… more than you think.
Most people don’t realize this, but your brain doesn’t filter content the way you think it does. It absorbs it. News, social media, TV… if it’s negative, chaotic, or fear-based, your mind treats it like it’s happening to you. That’s why you can sit on your couch doing nothing and still feel drained, anxious, or on edge.
If your input is heavy, your energy will be heavy. Simple as that.
Start being intentional with what you consume. Pay attention to how you feel after watching something. If you notice your mood drop, your thoughts get negative, or your energy shift, that’s your sign. Replace it with something that builds you instead of drains you. That could be a podcast that teaches you something, a YouTube video that inspires you, or even just silence. Give your mind space to breathe instead of constantly feeding it noise.
