ATLANTA – The Morehouse Maroon Tigers closed the regular season on a high note on Feb. 26, defeating the Spring Hill Badgers 82–72 at Forbes Arena to claim the outright Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) East Division title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament. The win was a fitting conclusion to an impressive regular season under head coach Larry Dixon. In his first season leading the program, Dixon guided Morehouse to a 19–9 overall record and a dominant 19–5 mark in SIAC play.
