This is the Doña Ana County, New Mexico Series. In most border regions, women account for approximately 15–18% of deaths. In Doña Ana County, New Mexico that number is 55%. More than half. This is not typical for the borderlands. This is not consistent with broader regional patterns. Same region. Same timeframe. Different outcome.
