Let me just take a moment to process what exactly went wrong here. I seem to recall knowing people who proudly wore labels like idealistic, leftist, communist, socialist; almost like badges of moral superiority. Until, of course, I saw them, perfectly tailored, impeccably styled, networking their way through elite circles, graciously bending toward media gatekeepers. And the media? Busy bending right back🤣towards godmen, babas, politicians (of all parties😂 simultaneously) & anyone with a sufficiently generous cheque. As for the godmen, well, I assume the chain of devotion continues upward, perhaps to politicians & whoever is above them, if anyone is🙄. A full circle ecosystem of mutual admiration. So now I’m genuinely curious; is it possible to passionately denounce capitalism while comfortably living off it, benefiting from it, and occasionally worshipping it?
