“Trauma Bond” and a season that means more than any box score.
Last night vs the Pelicans, I caught something special through my lens—including a few shots where the halo effect over the court. Felt fitting for the people I’ve gotten to document.
Because here’s what I’m really grateful for: sitting down and hearing the stories of the people (players, coaches, staff behind the scenes) for the Kings. Everyone who pours their heart into this building. That access has changed how I see every game.
And yeah, the record isn’t what fans wanted. And the growth of the newcomers, veterans who still lead like every possession matters, these things don’t always show up in the win column. The old saying “there is sunshine after the storm”.
So here’s to documenting through the losses. Through the halo lights. Through the beam. This season has a soul—and I’m just lucky to be holding the camera.
