We’re thrilled to announce that Project LEARN has been awarded a grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) to support our Renewable Futures Lab over the next two summers! This award is part of a $7M+ statewide investment by the Healey-Driscoll Administration to expand access to clean energy careers, and it positions Project LEARN as part of Massachusetts’ broader climate workforce strategy. Renewable Futures Lab, which will launch this summer, will provide paid, hands-on career exploration for rising 9th and 10th graders, focused on clean energy topics including energy efficiency, solar, EV infrastructure, weatherization and foundational technical skills. This investment will allow us to expand access to paid, career-connected learning and strengthen employer and industry partnerships by piloting this scalable clean energy workforce pathway for high school students, especially pathways that do not require 4-year degrees #projectlearn #grant #masscleanenergycenter
