When I was younger, I was always drawn to skyscrapers, large, lofty buildings, and the urban spotlight. Too late but I realised how our life was outpacing us. I felt our minds are entirely too loud and cluttered to make any sense of the thoughts inside.
I don't understand why people understand the concept of minimalism and slow living but don't practise them. For those who are asking what is slow living,
Slow living means doing everything at the correct speed: quickly, slowly or whatever pace works best. The Slow Living Movement is the opposite of our current hustle culture. It rejects the daily grind and denies any form of neglectful lifestyle.
It is an appeal to live our life with purpose, even if that means we take longer to reach our ambitions.
I am happier with no doubts. My days seem to be longer and more fruitful. My sense of being a passenger in my own life has changed. And for people wondering, slow life is the foundation of minimalism.
