SERIAL KILLER TRIAL: After years as one of Long Island’s most elusive cases, the alleged Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann is expected to admit to an eighth death, Karen Vergata, and plead guilty to killing seven other women at a court hearing tomorrow, April 8. Heuermann was first charged with three murders in 2023, a number that later grew to seven as the case expanded.
