It’s nice to have a few hours to sit next to each other, chat without interruption, and reconnect a bit. We throughly enjoyed the food and vibes at blusteakhouse. My turn to find a new spot next! Something we do on dates that might be a bit out of the ordinary is talk about our kids. I know a lot of couples who intentionally do not talk about their kids on date night, and I completely get it. We do—but not logistics or “to-dos.” We like to catch up on the moments we may have missed. I’m with them in the mornings and see them in the afternoons, Marvin handles bedtime, and we both do individual outings with them.
