‼️Rare Bird Alert‼️ European little owl (Athene noctua) spotted at the Getty Villa Museum in Pacific Palisades, CA. The rarity has been observed on a red-figure water jar, a red-figure cup, and a silver four-drachma coin, all dating to approximately 500–100 BCE.
