It’s interesting how quickly women are made to feel like they need permission during pregnancy and birth.
Permission to do things.
Permission to say no.
Permission to say yes.
Permission to choose what feels right for their own body.
And somewhere along the way, it almost becomes normal to hand that over.
Not just the decisions…
but your intuition as well.
That quiet inner voice that usually guides you
slowly gets replaced with outside opinions.
What someone else thinks is best.
What you’ve been told is “right”.
What feels safer to follow.
Your body isn’t something that suddenly belongs to the system the moment you become pregnant.
You’re still you.
You still have autonomy.
You still have the final say.
