Against the best juniors in the world, Famke ran 10:12.42 which was the first finisher out of a qualifying spot for the steeplechase finals. A bittersweet way to end her year... but but what a year it was!!! Big South champion, school record holder, Big South record holder, Big South Runner of the Year, and of course, qualifier for Junior World Championships.
