Corrine Linder is a Relationship Manager for Alpine Bank. She has been with the bank since 2020 and volunteers with Summit Valley Horse Center, a horse rehabilitation center that focuses on people helping horses helping people.
“Being around animals has been shown to have therapeutic benefits for people,” explained Corrine. “To have that bond with a horse, even a small one built over the course of an hour, is truly special.”
Volunteering with Summit Valley Horse Center can include everyday chores like feeding horses and mucking stalls. In the summers, they work with rescue horses on halter manners and rideability. They also host youth programs and corporate team building workdays.
“All this work could not be more rewarding, especially when you see a horse that could barely be haltered at the beginning of the summer being adopted into a loving home,” said Corrine. “I absolutely love being involved in this organization and surrounded by happy horses!”
