Jess Pierce is a Loan Assistant for Alpine Bank. She has been with the bank since 2022 and volunteers with Parker’s Animal Rescue, a nonprofit that fosters and finds permanent loving homes for abandoned animals in La Plata County. “On a monthly basis, I take an adoptable puppy, who is currently living with a foster, around to the various businesses that sponsor Parker's Animal Rescue,” said Jess. “It not only is a great experience for the puppy but also grants them exposure to potential adopters.” In addition to its rescue efforts, Jess added that Parker’s Animal Rescue educates the public on the importance of spay/neutering and helps new pet owners with training basics.
