Richell Colson is a personal banking representative at Alpine Bank Ridgway. She’s been with the bank for seven years, and has deep roots in the community as a fourth-generation Ouray native who comes from a family of miners.
“I’m a passionate rock collector, a.k.a. ‘rock hound’ as my Dad liked to call me,” says Richell. “I plan on starting a journal of my dad's memories of the Ouray he grew up in, and the many memories of his mining days.”
She’s also a glass-half-full person, a wife, mom and grandmother.
“Every day I tell myself: I want to make someone's day better. I love to be able to pay it forward! I am so blessed to have three sons who have become incredible adults — and also my husband of 27 years,” says Richell. “My oldest son made me a grandma three years ago. And I have to say, being a grandma is so much easier than being a mom.”
