Veronica Vargas has been serving Alpine Bank customers in Basalt for 21 of the 38 years she has lived in the community. She currently holds the role of personal banking representative. Veronica puts a lot of heart into work, and provides a supportive and comforting voice in her customer interactions. “The past two years have been extremely stressful for our customers. Being keenly aware of this, I have gone out of my way to assist them in any way possible, either in person or remotely,” says Veronica. “I tried to reassure everyone that their money was safe, that we were concerned for their safety and that eventually things would return to normal.
