Maggie Goodwin, relationship manager for Alpine Bank Durango, has been with the bank for three years. A self-described dancer, runner and math nerd, this mother of two teen sons also has incredible inner strength and is a vocal advocate for mental health. “In October 2020, my ex-husband committed suicide and left me to raise our two teenage boys solely on my own. The hole his death left in our lives was huge,” says Maggie. “With counseling and the support of the many amazing people in our lives, we are healing every day. Since that time, I received a promotion to relationship manager, and will be getting married in October 2022. I try to live my life with integrity and compassion, teach my boys to do the same, and don't shy away from the hard conversations of mental health awareness.
