Meet Elliot Olson- Senior Theatre and Visual Communication Double Major! Elliot serves as Marketing Director for SPIN Theatre and as Social Media Chair for Undeclared Acapella. Reflecting on his experience with the VPA, he says: “In both of my majors, I value the broad range of subjects I’ve been able to explore. As a Visual Communication major, I’ve studied photography, graphic design, videography, media, journalism, computer science, and much more. Luther has provided me with opportunities to broaden my base across so many disciplines, which has made me into a more versatile and well-rounded artist.” Elliot shares his senior advice: “A piece of advice I’d give to underclassmen is to try new things! There are so many great opportunities at Luther to learn or try something new, many of which you won’t get the chance to do again after college. I wouldn’t be a Visual Communication major if I didn’t decide to try something new and take graphic design during my sophomore year.”
