Life lately has been a lot. What started with my son Sam suddenly vomiting, followed by a bad headache, and then passing out had us rushing to the ER in fear. It was one of those moments no parent is ever prepared for, and all we wanted was to make sure he was okay. From there, it’s been days of doctor visits. The ER didn’t find anything alarming, but we were referred to his pediatrician and then to a cardiologist to take a closer look. He had an EKG done, and they’ve recommended an echocardiogram, which we’re currently waiting on insurance to approve. Right now, Sam is doing better. He still has some on and off headaches, but they’re manageable, and he’s slowly getting his energy back. He’s been told to take it easy for now, especially with sports, until we have more answers. This week has been heavy, but we’re grateful he’s improving. My baby girl is just happy to have her big brother home. #sick #samandsaniyah
