Cesar Padron ’28 is following in his brothers’ footsteps while making Trinity his own. After watching his older brothers attend Trinity, Cesar arrived with a sense of what to expect. Now, after experiencing it for himself, he says they were right about the opportunities, community, and support here. His journey began with the Skyline Scholars Program, where he moved in early to start his First-Year Experience course, attend workshops, and connect with other students. Since then, Cesar has found community through club basketball, the boxing club, the Trinity University Latino Association, and the Mexico, Americas, and Spain (MAS) program. He also serves as a resident assistant in the first-year area, helping new students feel welcome and supported.
