Alynn Miranda ’27 is turning lived experience into action. Born in Texas and raised in a border town in Tamaulipas, Mexico, Alynn returned to San Antonio in 2021 to reconnect with a part of her identity she had not fully explored. That experience continues to shape both her studies and the work she’s doing today. During a gap year, she created an Instagram account translating Spanish-language content about gender-based violence into English. The response was immediate and global. That work grew into Revolución Violeta, a registered nonprofit raising awareness and creating space for conversation around these issues. At Trinity, she has built on that work through community engagement in San Antonio, supporting immigrant communities through translation and resource navigation.
