Coaching has one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. As a coach, it's my responsibility to develop the skills of each player, but it's also about cultivating leadership and building a team that's truly bought in. Without everyone on the same page, it's impossible to succeed on the court. Basketball is about more than just developing the physical skills. Having a rock solid mindset and mentality is the biggest indicator of success on and off the court. It's about building character and overcoming adversity. Everyday presents new challenges, and it's up to us to rise to the occasion. Tough times never last…tough people do. Through hard work and dedication to both the goals of the individual and the group as a whole, many of us can become great players, but all of us can be better people.
