Dr. SherRhonda Gibbs, Dean of the Division of Business and Economics, has been named the 24th President of Texas College, becoming the first woman to lead the institution since its founding in 1894.⁠ ⁠ A seasoned scholar, entrepreneur, and academic leader, Dr. Gibbs brings more than two decades of experience across higher education and industry, including prior leadership roles at the University of Northern Colorado and the University of Southern Mississippi.
