Surprise announcement today as @nblacrosse had some of its pros shooting a commercial for the release of the Freeze 2.0. I am a huge fan of the OG Freeze cleat so I was stoked for this news. I did a little digging and was able to find some images of them being tested during a recent MLL game. As you can see, the sole plate looks virtually identical to the OG Freeze. Check the fourth picture for a side by side view. The upper appears to have been tinkered with, specifically on the instep where the woven saddle appears to have been added to help with eversion. Additionally, there appears to be an elastic strap that goes around the back of your heel, presumably to give you a very individual feel while still providing great lockdown. Finally, the mesh collar has been completely redesigned with a combination style cut that provides support in the back, but freedom of mobility around the ankle.
