Who is this diva? 🤭 —- When I was creating my set for bookclubradio, I wanted an intro that would immediately hook and bring the audience in and ultimately give them an idea into the 90 minute journey I was about to take them through. I decided on “Le Freak” by Chic, specifically the Dimitri from Paris edit. I love playing disco when I can and being able to DJ a refreshed edit puts a wonderful spin to my curation. This edit isolates the vocals by CHIC which slowly enters us into the journey I was about to take you through. It also gives the listener and the dancer a cue, that the show is about to start. Theater darling! I loved every minute of this and I am so thankful it has been resonating so well with everyone. Thank you!
