Adam from our Sydney office recently coordinated the charter of an iconic MD-11 tri-jet to support a major mining sector project. The shipment included oversized 9-tonne gear components, which required airside cranes for loading onto 20ft Pallets before commencing their long-haul transpacific journey to the final site. First launched in 1986, the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 was once a star of long-haul passenger travel, before many transitioned into cargo operations.
