Another Tillman Scholar Spotlight: 🦒 Impact that extends across continents. 2025 Tillman Scholar Stephanie Mitchell recently returned from Kenya, where she spent two months conducting field research, focused on understanding how diseases spread between animals and humans in regions where people, livestock, and wildlife live in close proximity. Back at home, Stephanie is continuing to pursue her PhD in environmental health science at the University of Washington with support from the Pat Tillman Foundation.
