How did I get here?? I graduated from Valdosta State in 2023 I didn’t have a job. I applied to several universities and teams, knowing that I wanted to work in sports. Ended up taking a summer job with Winshape Camps International. (I figured it was the only time in my life I could spend two months in another country) After the summer I moved to Atlanta and freelanced for teams and events working in the media industry anyway I could. Finally in October of 2023 I got a job at Samford University as the Creative Content Coordinator and moved to Birmingham. I say this to the people graduating this spring or looking for the next thing. Even though you don’t have anything lined up the next thing will come as long as you keep trying. Don’t give up you will find that job that you want.
