A study published in the journal Addiction found that, for the first time, 17.7 million Americans reported using marijuana daily or near-daily in 2022, compared to 14.7 million daily or near-daily drinkers. 🚬 Daily or near-daily marijuana use grew by 269% from 2008 to 2022, while the prevalence of daily or near-daily alcohol use actually fell by 7%.
